What are you holding onto?
It can be easy to hold onto things in our mind - that do not serve us. These things can become part of our identities and shape our view of the world. Some common examples include:
a belief that you cannot achieve something
a grudge against someone
a fear stopping you from taking action
a past mistake influencing your current choices
a bad experience causing you to avoid certain things
While these things may have served us at a point in time, they may no longer be useful and be limiting your life.
Exercise:
Ponder what you may be holding onto that may no longer serve you. Perhaps ask those close to you for feedback on what they see, that you may not.
Consider how your life might improve if you let it go.
Reflect on the benefits and costs of holding on, versus letting go.
